About
My name is Janet Saucedo and I am the owner of Salas Monuments & Laser Design. I started this business in 2022 after experiencing the process of purchasing a headstone for the first time.
I was introduced to death at a very young age. I remember being a toddler when I attended my great-grandfather's viewing. By the time I was 18, several people close to me had passed, including two of my school friends, my grandma, and my older brother, Joey. On June 12, 2020, my dad passed away. Now, I was in a position where I could afford the funeral expenses and getting a nice headstone for my best friend. The process was harder than I thought, and my overall experience was less than ideal. It took about a year after placing the order (paid in full) for the stone to be placed.
I'm determined to offer a better experience to all of my clients by explaining their options, being part of the design process, providing follow-ups, and having their orders ready in a timely manner. My stone suppliers are located in the United States and the laser design is completed in house. This allows me to offer competitive pricing on luxurious black granite as well as faster turnaround times.
As I got familiarized with my equipment, I quickly learned that there are endless options to what I can create. This is why I also offer various items in addition to headstones, including glass etching, plaques, wood engraving and cutting, marking on stainless steel, etching on sports equipment, leather, and personalizing powder coated tumblers.
Whether you're looking to get a special gift or customizing a remembrance piece, I'm here to help you Celebrate Life!
